BSS DIPLOMA IN X RAY & IMAGING TECHNOLOGY

BSS Diploma in X-Ray & Imaging Technology

Affiliated to Bharat Sevak Samaj (BSS), Chennai
Institute: GK Institute of Healthcare and Skill Development, Kolkata
Eligibility: 10+2 pass from any stream (Science preferred)

Course Overview:

The BSS Diploma in X-Ray & Imaging Technology is a comprehensive two-year program designed to equip students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in radiology, diagnostic imaging, and medical image processing. X-ray technology is one of the oldest and most essential tools in modern diagnostics, used in hospitals, trauma care units, dental clinics, and orthopedic centers.

This program offered by GK Institute of Healthcare and Skill Development, Kolkata, in affiliation with Bharat Sevak Samaj (BSS), Chennai, enables students to become proficient in operating X-ray machines, developing radiographic films, and handling advanced imaging equipment such as CT scanners, MRI machines, and ultrasound systems.

Course Objectives:

  • To impart foundational knowledge of human anatomy and physiology

  • To train students in the safe and effective use of X-ray and radiographic equipment

  • To provide hands-on exposure to advanced imaging modalities like CT, MRI, and USG

  • To ensure radiographic procedures are performed ethically, safely, and accurately
