Terms and Conditions for Offer of Scholarship

At GK Institute of Healthcare and Skill Development, we are committed to supporting deserving and financially challenged students in pursuing their career goals in healthcare. The institute offers merit-based and need-based scholarships under the following terms and conditions:


Eligibility Criteria:

  1. The applicant must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Higher Secondary (H.S.) or Graduation, whichever is applicable to the course applied for.

  2. The student must pass all examinations in the first attempt throughout the duration of the course to continue receiving scholarship benefits.

  3. The scholarship amount shall not exceed the total tuition fees for the course.

  4. A valid Income Certificate must be submitted, proving financial need.

  5. Students from boards other than the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education are also eligible to apply.

  6. The scholarship is not transferable and is only applicable for the course and academic session in which the student is enrolled.

  7. If any fraudulent activity or misrepresentation of documents/information is discovered at any time, the institute reserves the right to:

    • Cancel the scholarship immediately

    • Recover the actual course fees

    • Impose an interest of 12% compounded annually on the recovered amount


Required Documents for Scholarship Application:

Students applying for the scholarship must submit self-attested copies of the following documents at the time of admission:

  1. Marksheet and Certificate of Madhyamik (10th Standard) Examination

  2. Marksheet, Admit Card, and Certificate of the last qualifying examination (Board/Council/College)

  3. Income Certificate of the family issued by a competent authority (Municipality/Corporation/Panchayat Executive Officer)

  4. Aadhaar Card and Voter ID Card (for identity verification)

  5. Recent Passport-size Photograph

  6. Photocopy of Bank Passbook (student’s or parent’s account)

  7. Original Admission Receipt issued by the institute


Disbursement of Scholarship:

  • The scholarship amount will be directly adjusted or disbursed by the institute towards the student’s tuition fees.

  • No cash or direct bank transfer will be made to the student unless otherwise stated in a specific scholarship scheme.
